   I am multimedia artist who mostly works in the medias of drawing, video, performance but beside that I paint icons and frescoes. I had been learnt to paint icons in traditional Byzantine style at Gradac monastery in Serbia (founded by Sent Jelena Anzujska in XIII century).

   From 2002. I have been painting icons and frescoes, and even collages and drawings of orthodox Christian icons.

​I had painted frescoes at many churches and chapels, like in Krka monastery in Dalmatia (Croatia), monastery Gradac, monastery Jovanje ( Serbia), church of St. Jovan in Woolongong in Australia, monastery St. Paul and Peter in Trebinje (BiH)...
   I graduated as a painter from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, and I am currently working on PhD thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.

   I paint icons and frescoes as a contemplative and meditation method of discovering and recovering my personal world.

   I  paint in traditional Byzantine technique with pigment and egg medium on linden wood board with gold or silver leaves.

  I painted the copies of famous medieval icons, as well as a new and authentic icons respecting the canons of Byzantine icons. 

   I have worked out my own way to make icons of rests of paper and cardboard in a way of contemporary flow of recycling and ecology care, and in some way I have connected  inheritance of contemporary painting and medieval approach to the icons.
